Inez Caldwell, 106, of Beallsville, Ohio died Thursday, July 20, 2023 in Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center, Barnesville, Ohio. She was born February 17, 1917 near Powhatan Point, Ohio, one of five children of the late Frank and Leanna Johnson Hammond.

Inez and her late husband, Charles owned and operated a Holstein dairy farm near Beallsville for many of their 70 years of marriage and they were active members of the Beallsville Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband and her parents, Inez was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Robert Hammond, also by two sisters, Betty Hammond and Mary McGrew.  Left to cherish her memory are two children, Neal (Barbara) Caldwell of Coshocton, Ohio and Arleen (Jack) Price of Beallsville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kimberly Caldwell, Heath (Amy) Caldwell, Kurt Price (Nicole), and Kent (Bre) Price; four great-grandchildren, Evan Caldwell, Emily Caldwell, Austyn Price, and Mazikeen Price.

Visitation will be Monday, July 24 from 5pm to 8pm at Wilson Funeral Home - Harper Chapel, 52728 Ohio Avenue, Beallsville, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 25 at 11am with Colin Morrison offering words of comfort.

Interment in Beallsville Cemetery will be held at a later date.
