Irene J. (DePasquale) Truax, 85, of Concord St., Martins Ferry, OH died Wed., May 30, 2007 at her residence. She was born Jan. 9, 1922 in Dillonvale, OH a daughter of the late Phillip and Julia (Tromantine) DePasquale. Irene retired from Dan Jones & Sons Insurance Agency of Martins Ferry. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Wheeling, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin C. Truax. Surviving are her son Todd N. (Kimberly) Truax of Gladstone, MO, a daughter Carol J. (Mauri) Sheer of Kansas City, MO, a brother Gerald "Jerry" DePasquale and a sister Grace DePasquale both of Martins Ferry, four grandchildren Jeremy (Kayla) Sheer, Jordan (Erica) Sheer, Molly B. Truax and Carter Truax, and a great granddaughter Hannah Sheer. Private graveside services where held Sat., Jun, 2, 2007 at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry with Mr. Ron Stullenbarger officiating.
