FILLIPPI, Irene H. (Slivenski), 80, of Piney Fork, Ohio, died Friday November 20, 2009 at Trinity West, Steubenville. She was born at Piney Fork, on December 26, 1928, a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Gondek Slivenski Sr. Irene married her husband Norman ""Boss"" Fillippi on October 20, 1951; she is a graduate of Smithfield High School and a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale. In addition to her parents, Irene is preceded in death by her husband ""Boss"" Fillippi on February 19, 1987 and a brother John Slivenski. Irene is survived by two sons: Joseph Fillippi and his wife Toni, and Thomas Fillippi and his wife Julie; a sister Agnes Panepucci, all of Dillonvale, a brother Joe Slivenski Jr. of Piney Fork, and a sister -in-law Barbara Phillippi of Adena; grandchildren: Sarah (Ben) Baldwin; Linda Fillippi, Gina Fillippi, Jamie Fillippi. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio on Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. where vigil services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday November 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dillonvale, with Monsignor John C. Kolesar, officiating. Entombment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
