Irene E. Goddard Irene E. Goddard, 96, of Englewood, OH formerly of Colerain, OH died Tue., Nov. 18, 2003 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, OH. She was born Feb. 1, 1907 in Proctor, WV a daughter of the late Jason and Mary (Elks) Paugh. She was a retired Postmistress of the Colerain, OH Post Office and a member of the Colerain Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Q. Goddard and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are two daughters Betty L. Alpern of Dayton, OH and Lois Jean (Bob) Campbell of Louisville, KY, four grandchildren Kip Campbell, Kevin (Linda) Campbell, Jon (Pam) Campbell and Barry Alpern, nine great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Fri. 2-6 PM and Sat. from 10AM until time of services at 11:00 AM when Rev. John A. Brown will officiate at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
