Irene Porter 96, of Wheeling died Wednesday March 11, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling WV. She was born June 1, 1918 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Pete and Zafera (Papamichael) Bondo. She was a member of New Life United Methodist Church the former Thompson United Methodist Church Wheeling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband James Porter in 2005, a son Thomas L. Porter, a brother George Bondo, and a sister Kathryn Burns. Irene is survived by her children Jane (Thomas) Fadul of Wheeling, James T. (Bridget) Porter Jr. of Los Angeles, Cal, and David G. (Carol) Porter of Pickerington, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandson, a sister-in-law Betty Porter, also several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Sunday March 15, 2015 from 1pm till time of service at 3 pm with Rev.
