Iris R. Creager 95, of Martins Ferry died Thursday August 26, 2021, at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born August 13, 1926, in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late George J. and Elizabeth (Sommer) Rinderer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Alice Beale.

She was married to the late William A. Creager.

She was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Martins Ferry.

She was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and West Liberty College.

Surviving is a nephew William G. Rinderer of Martins Ferry, three nieces Cheryl (Dennis) Ayers of St. Clairsville, Debbie (Oma Underwood) Beale of VA, Sarah (Jerry) Cobb of NC, also several great nephews and great nieces.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Nancy DeStefano officiating interment in Riverview Cemetery Martins Ferry. Wilson Funeral Home Heslop Chapel 415 Walnut St. Martins Ferry assisting the family.
