Obituary

Isabelle N. (Malatesta) Stopera, 89, of Colerain, OH died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Gables of Kent Ridge, Kent, OH. She was born February 28, 1928 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Flory and Emma (Uphold) Malatesta.
She retired as Assist. Store Mgr. and Office Mgr. for the former F. W. Woolworths of Martins Ferry. Isabelle was a member of Colerain Presbyterian Church, Colerain, OH.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Stopera, daughter, Tina Stopera, brothers; Julius, Paul, Canado, Carl, Marshall and Leonard Malatesta and sisters; Phoebe Kronjaeger, Rose Marangoni, Rita Roth, Josephine Buonamici and GeGe Reese.
Surviving are her children, Tony (Cindy) Stopera of Barberton, OH and Judy (Roger) Blumling of Myrtle Beach SC, sisters; Ann Davies of Wake Forest, NC and Jenny Malatesta of Ft. Mills, SC, grandchildren, Jeffery (Denise) Stephens and Scott (Laura) Stephens and great granddaughter Brianna.
Friends will be received Thursday 5-8 p. m. at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Ellis officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
