Israel Eugene Albus passed away on the evening of December 24, 2022 while a patient in UPMC Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh on October 15th, 2021 the younger son of Anthony and Kimberly Copeland Albus.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents and his loving big brother, Aeryk, of Beallsville are his maternal grandparents, Doug and Eileen Overmyer Copeland; his paternal grandparents, Dan and Revonda Grelles Mallett; his paternal great-grandparents, Juanita Albus and Geraldine and Kenny Goble; also many family members and others whose lives he touched these past months.

His paternal grandfather, Randy Albus, also his maternal great-grandparents, Norma Copeland and Ronald Copeland preceded Israel in death.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, December 29th at the Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, 52728 Ohio Ave., Beallsville from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2pm with Robert Fraley offering words of comfort.

Israel's parents would like to share these thoughts . . . Our darling Israel Eugene Albus was lifted to Heaven by God's angels on the evening of December 24th, 2022. His strength surpassed what doctors had predicted, touching lives of many for 14 months. Israel had the most unique, beautiful soul and genuine personality of anyone we had known. Despite living the first 2.5 months of his life in the NICU and enduring 9 hospital stays, he always found reason to radiate the room with his smiles. He will be so dearly missed and forever loved.  We'd like to thank everyone for the prayers that have been offered and the kindness that has been shown to our family.
