Jack Edwin Duffey, 65, of Surfside Beach, SC; passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at his home. Jack was born June 28, 1957, in Bridgeport, OH, son of the late Charles Edwin Duffey and Nancy (Smith) Duffey.

He was in the HVAC field.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Paul Duffey; and sisters, Barbara Whitacre Duffey & Geraldine Rice Duffey.

Jack is survived by his wife, Janet Danehart Duffey; son, Billy Jack Duffey; stepson, Chase Lee Thorn; three granddaughters, Maddison Nicole Duffey, Lyla Grace Thorn and Ellee Danehart Thorn; four sisters, Carol Trimmer, Donna Smith, Sandra Ruggles (Jim), and Kathryn Conley (Darrell); and one brother, Charles Duffey. He also will be missed by his two dogs, Dixie, and Scooby.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday April 15, 2023, at Wilson Funeral Home Brookside from1 till time of service at 2 pm, with Rev. James Hoff officiating, interment in Linwood cemetery Blaine. There will be a wake at 4 pm at the Elm Grove Eagles.
