Jack C. Pierce, Sr., 75, of Barnesville, Ohio died August 20, 2012 at his home. He was born December 14, 1936 in Barnesville, Ohio, son of the late Robert B. Pierce, Sr. and Edith E. Morton Pierce. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed Country and Bluegrass Music and radio controlled airplanes. In addition to his paretns, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lova E. (McEndree) Pierce; brother, Robert B. Pierce; sister, Irene Van Fossen; and three great-grandchildren. Jack is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Terry) Conard of Barnesville, Ohio; sons, Jack C. Pierce, Jr. and John D. Pierce both of Barnesville, Ohio; sisters, Helen Castello of Springfield, Ohio and Violet (Robert) McGee of Frazeysburg, Ohio; brother, Forrest (Janet) Pierce of Frazeysburg, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends may visit, Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Pastor Rodney West officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
