Jack E. Rouse, SR. 67, of Anderson, SC, on Friday February 22, 2008, at the family home in Bridgeport. He was born March 29, 1940 in Martins Ferry, the son of the late Elmer (Jack) and Alice May Rouse. Jack was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a life member of the Alexandria Indiana VFW Post 1552. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a son, Jody. Jack is survived by his wife Vicki Little Rouse of Anderson, SC; eight sons, William of Lansing, Michael (Molly) of Martins Ferry, John (Lisa) of New Philadelphia, Jack Jr. (Nickie) of Sherrodsville, James of New Philadelphia, David Ernes of Fairbanks, AK, William Clark (Kay) of Claxton, GA, and Jerry Mitchell of Lansing; four daughters, Cindy (Chuck) Moore of Massillon, OH, Kimberly Myers of Anderson, SC, Judy Ann Orth of Lansing, Belinda Stamper of Pendleton, IN; two brothers, Edward (Maureen) and Donald all of Bridgeport; two sisters, Alice (Ira) Davis and Alretta (Ed) Bennett all of Bridgeport; 28 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service of Remembrance at Lancaster Chapel Methodist Church in Sunset Heights on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Don Cordery officiating. The Belmont Co.
