John A. "Jack" Selmon 77 of St. Clairsville formerly of Blaine died Monday December 3, 2012 at Forest Hill Retirement Center St. Clairsville. He was born June 6, 1935 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Albert and Louise (Pyle) Selmon. He was a retired Caretaker for Linwood Cemetery Blaine and an Army veteran in Korea. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son John Michael Selmon, and a brother William Robert Selmon. Jack is survived by his children Jackie Selmon of Colerain, Paula Eddy of Wellsburg, WV, Earl Selmon of Wheeling and Bruce (Debbi) Selmon of Moundsville, five grandchildren, Gregory, Jonathon, and Cory Eddy, Cheyenne Selmon, and Lindsay Nolan. Friends are invited to a celebration of Jack's life on Friday December 7, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside. Services will be held on Saturday at 1 pm with Rev. James Hoff officiating, interment will be at the convenience f the family.
