James K. Arbogast, PhD, MBA, 60, passed away December 9, 2016 at OVMC. He was born July 4, 1956, in Martins Ferry, OH, a son of the late Tommie and Kathleen (Burke) Arbogast. James was a professor of Chemistry and Nursing at Lourdes University, Owens Community College, and the Mercy College School of Nursing in Toledo. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Robinson; and infant siblings, Thomas and Kathy Arbogast. He is survived by his siblings; Joan (James) Mooney of Bruceton Mills, WV, Judy (Michael) McCardel of Howard, OH, Ron (Kathi) Arbogast of Columbia, South Carolina, Richard Arbogast of St. Clairsville, OH, and Kenn (Kate) Arbogast of Interlochen, MI; stepchildren, Grace and Rudy Hanzel of Toledo, OH; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 17th at 1p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912. Interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery at a later date.
