James C. Arritt Sr. Passed away of natural causes at the Shadyside Care Center 7/2/24.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force for 8 yrs.  He retired from Consolidated Coal and the WV Dept. of Highways.   Jim was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Arritt of Glen Dale WV.  Also, Donna J. Arritt of 64 years, a daughter-in-law Lynn Arritt, and a grandson John C. Arritt Jr.   He is survived by 4 sons: James C. Arritt Jr. John and (Cheryl) Arritt, Jeffery C. Arritt, and Jason C. and (April) Arritt.   He had six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.   At his request there will be no visitation or flowers.  A private graveside service will be held at the discretion of the family.   All arrangements are being handled by the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside, OH.
