James F. Baker, 82, of Barnesville, Ohio, died August 3, 2017 at Barnesville Hospital.  Born February 17, 1935 in Barnesville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Paren O.  Baker and Estella Mae Christman Baker. A devoted family man who enjoyed the outdoors, James loved fishing, camping, and farming. Enjoying the outdoors was a simple pleasure and a great way to enjoy his natural surroundings.  He also enjoyed wood working, an expression of creativity. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Renee Baker. James is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rita H. Baker of Barnesville, Ohio; daughters, Nona (Terry) Gray, Teresa (Brian) McBride, Lisa Price-Hollar all of Barnesville, Ohio, and Vicki Tomolonis of Bethesda, Ohio; sons, Joseph (Donna) Baker of Barnesville, Ohio, Larry (Trisha) Baker of Freeport, Ohio, Russell (Dawn) Baker of Buffalo, Ohio; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brothers, Jess Baker and Harold (Carolyn) Baker all of Barnesville, Ohio. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service, beginning at 1 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio.  Pastor Ed Eberhart officiating.  Interment will follow at Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
