James Paul Dillon, 82, of Woodsfield, passed away on December 21, 2023, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born on May 19, 1941, in Wheeling, the only son of the late John and Iva (Morris) Dillon. Jim retired from Nickles Bakery after many years of service and enjoyed model railroading and painting.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lois (Platt) Dillon; three children, Jeff (Kathy Pacifico) Dillon, Jim (Sherry) Dillon and Jay (Kathy) Dillon; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John Dillon; and two sisters, Jean Kennedy, and June Rogers.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 2, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12:30 pm in the funeral home with Pastor James Hoff officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
