James Michael Friend, 51, of Wheeling, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in his residence.  He was born in Wheeling on May 24, 1969 a son of Bertha Sue Friend.  He was an avid Denver Bronco fan and enjoyed playing Chess.

James is survived by his mother; a brother, Dwane Friend; a sister, Patricia (Mark) Lenevich; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his son, Ethan James Brown-Friend and his maternal grandparents, Virgil Friend and Louise Friend Russel.

Friends may call Saturday from 11 to 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 pm with Reverend James Hoff officiating.
