JAMES DONALD GRIMES

James (Jim) Donald Grimes, 70, passed away on November 17, 2021 after a very short illness. He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, August 2, 1951, to Nancy Grimes and the late Donald Grimes.

Jim was an electrician by trade and worked for Consol and Ormet.  He enjoyed the simple things in life including camping at Tappan Lake and watching drag racing.  He walked every day through St. Clairsville and has now walked his last mile.

Surviving is his mother, Nancy Grimes of Uniontown (St. Clairsville); son, Jay (Amy) Grimes of Flushing; daughter, Amy (Kevin) McNamara of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Zachery Grimes, Brady and Kelsey McNamara; sister, Patty Smith; and friend Robin Walters.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido was entrusted with Jim's care.
