James M. "Jimbo" Staley, 50, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at his home. He was born Mar. 27, 1963 in Wheeling, WV a son of Mary Evelyn (Coss) Staley and the late George Jerome "Jerry" Staley. He was the Food Service Coordinator for the Belmont Correctional Institute of St. Clairsville, OH. Jim was a Catholic and a member of the former Eagles Aerie #456. Surviving in addition to his mother of Bridgeport, OH are his wife Tina M. (Cruise) Kemp-Staley, his children: Nick and Jacob Kemp both of Martins Ferry, Brittany Kelley of Rayland, Steven Wilson of Cincinnati, OH and Sara Staley of Columbus, OH, brothers: Dale (Diana) Staley of Martins Ferry, David (Tracey) Staley of Wheeling, Jerry (Jamie) Staley of Wheeling and Patrick (Jodi) Staley of Martins Ferry, a sister, Connie (Bob) Hackett of Martins Ferry, numerous nieces, nephews and daycare children, and best friends; Stan Bender of Wheeling and Fred Danehart of Morristown, OH. Friends will be received Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm as the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:00 am with Rev. Tom Marut officiating.
