James H. Kirkpatrick James H. "Kirk" Kirkpatrick, 63, of Piedmont Lake, OH, formerly of Medina, OH, died Wed., July 3, 2002 at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, OH. He was born May 29, 1939 in Martins Ferry a son of June Bellville Kirkpatrick and the late James O. Kirkpatrick. He was a retired regional manager for AT & T of Medina, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a member of the Marine Corps League, American Legion Post #283, Moose Lodge #647, Fraternal Order of Eagles #2224, and Medina Lodge #824 F. & A. M. all of Medina, and Elks Lodge #1699 of Barnesville. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister Beverly Joyce Kirkpatrick. Surviving in addition to his mother of Martins Ferry are his fiancé Jean Love of Medina, two sons, a daughter, a grandson, a sister Barbara Stabile and her husband Carl of Martins Ferry, a brother Jeff Kirkpatrick and his wife Cheri of Rome, GA, two nieces Rhonda Bernardo and Joyce Stewart of Martins Ferry, and two nephews Jake and Luke Kirkpatrick of Rome, GA. Friends will be received Sun. 12-3 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Mon., July 8, 2002, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Van D. Fisher officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry with full military graveside honors by the Belmont Co. Council of the American Legion.
