Krahel, James "Hosie" M., 69, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed Monday August 27, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on December 5, 1942, a son of the late John Joseph and Rose Virginia Hose Krahel. He was a retired truck driver, a U. S. Air Force Veteran and a Catholic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Kyanko. James is survived by two daughters: Kerri Krahel of Shadyside, Kassie Coffield (Denny) of Moundsville, W.Va.; a son Kevin Krahel of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters: Paula Bowman (Ed) of Martins Ferry, Rosalee Stidd (Tom), and Jonetta Regoli (Dave) all of Bridgeport; the mother of his children Mary "Peach" Krahel; five grandchildren: Stivi, Dallas, Dalton, Elias Mackenzie; and four great-grandchildren: Katelynn, Mia, Preston, and Addison. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 p.m. and also on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Belmont County Honor Guard at 9:15 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Bridgeport, with Rev. John Mucha as celebrant.
