James E. McConn, 52, of Bridgeport, OH passed away July 10th 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born February 1, 1964, a son of Delbert "Deb" and Janice (Ikey) McConn. James was an employee at Advanced Auto Parts in Bridgeport, OH. He was a motorcycle advocate who loved cooking and his dogs. He was always willing to help others and was a great son, husband, father and friend. James was preceded in death by his brother, Delbert R. "Deb" McConn. In addition to his parents, James is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Howell) McConn of Bridgeport; children, Brittany (Jeffrey) Wick of Martins Ferry, James McConn of Bridgeport, and Katelin McConn of Bridgeport; grandchildren Isaiah and Taylor Wick; brother Charles (Amy) McConn of Belmont; sister, Amy Perzanowski of St. Clairsville; in-laws Lee and Linda Howell of Middlebourne, WV; his sister-in-law, Leigh McConn of Bridgeport and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday July 13 from 2-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11AM with Reverend James Hoff officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family.
