James E. Mills, 79, of Martins Ferry formerly of Tiltonsville, died Wednesday July 31, 2019 at his home. He was born October 10, 1939 in Tiltonsville, a son of the late James F. and Bessie Mae (Chamberlin) Mills.

He was a retired member of the Laborers Union #809 Steubenville, a Methodist by faith and a Veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sister.

Jim is survived by his children Karla Mills, and Kim (Rex) Hall both of Martins Ferry, and Jim (Becky) Mills of Dillonvale, five grandchildren Fawna Kidder, Jordan Hall, Jillian, Jayllex, and James Mills, four great grandchildren Kiara, Kayana, Jameson, and Allison.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Monday August 5, 2019 from 4-8 pm with services Monday at 7:30 pm with Rev. James Hoff officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
