James Lee Mitchell Fuhr, Jr., 67 of Martins Ferry passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, at East Ohio Regional Hospital.  He was born November 16, 1955, in Wheeling, WV the son of the late James Lee Mitchell  and Marjorie Jane (Ochenbein) Fuhr, Sr.

He was a former employee of the United Ohio Valley Dairy and Dallas Pike Truck Stop as a mechanic.  He enjoyed NASCAR and the sport of racing.

Surviving are his two daughters, Angela Fuhr of Wheeling, and Amanda Fuhr of Lake Wylie, SC, grandchildren, Tyler and Brianna Fuhr and his sister Lynn (Berry) Pettit of Dallas, GA.

In keeping with his wishes all services will be private and  the burial will take place at the convenience of the family, at the Linwood Cemetery, Blaine.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912 to help with funeral expenses.
