Moffo, James 77, of Dillonvale, died Monday August 5, 2013 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. He was born March 3, 1936 in Connersville, Ohio, a son of the late Victor Moffo and Pearl (Guzy) Merkel. He was a retired employee of the former Valley Distributing Co. Dillonvale, the Dillonvale Eagles, and an avid hunter. Jim is survived by his wife Helen Moffo, daughters Jeannette (Chuck) Moffo, and Theresa (Greg) Helmbright both of Rayland, a sister Darlene Riley of Dillonvale, his grandchildren Kristy Deters, Jennifer (Rodney) Helmbright, and Ashley Langford, great grandchildren Tyler, and Kaylee Hurkman, also several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to a celebration of Jim's life on Thursday August 8, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second St. Dillonvale, where services will be held on Friday at 11 am, with Rev. Michael Lenno officiating, interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
