James Edward Nowakowski, 48, of Bridgeport, Ohio died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital. He was born July 15, 1968 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of Wanda (Thomas) Stropki and the late Larry Nowakowski. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Falbo, and his mother-in-law Linda Bunting. James is survived by his loving wife, Lori Nowakowski; children, Dylan and Kayla Nowakowski of the home; brother, Larry Nowakowski of Dillonvale, OH; sisters, Darlene (Ron) Baker of Bridgeport, Karen (Rich) Thomas of Adena, OH and Katheryn (Dave) Swiger of Painesville Township, OH; father-in-law James (Linda) Jeffers of St. Clairsville, OH; sister-in-law, Micah (Joseph) Montanari of Chesterfield, VA; brother-in-law Don Falbo of Martins Ferry, OH; fourteen nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles. He was a loving son, great brother, special uncle, and the best husband and father. Friends will be received Sunday, August 21 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH where funeral services will be held Monday at 11am with Rev. Brad Schrum officiating. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, OH.
