James S. Pinter, 82, of Colerain, OH died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born May 16, 1926 in Barton, OH a son of the late Vincent and Helen (Kovach) Pinter. He retired form Consol Coal Co. and H & S Hydraulics. Jim was a member of the Hungarian Cultural Society and American Legion Post #38 both of Martins Ferry. He was a veteran of the US Army WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Margaret W. "Margie" (Veres) Pinter and a sister Mary Tuckosh. Surviving are two daughters Pamela Robson and her husband Jason of Dillonvale and Sandy Stickel and her husband Matt of Louisville, KY, a brother Vincent Pinter of Barton, six grandchildren James Robson of Youngstown, OH, Brian Robson and his wife Rosario of Vallejo, CA, Paul and Shelly Stickel of Louisville, and Emma and Amy Stickel of Nashville, TN, and two great grandchildren Blaise and Zabria Robson. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at 11:00 am with Rev.
