JAMES A. POWELL

James A. Powell, 45, of Dubois, Pennsylvania, passed away, March 8, 2019.  Son of the late Richard Powell and Pearl Lucas Powell, James was born September 14, 1973 in Wheeling, West Virginia.

James will be sadly missed by those who survive; daughter, Abigail Powell of Pennsylvania; and brothers, Kevin (Catherine) Powell of Greenfield, Indiana and Bryon (Amanda) Powell of St. Clairsville, Ohio.

James enjoyed writing poetry, as a way to express himself and tell stories.  Because of his enjoyment and successfulness in writing poetry, he had a book published sharing his poems.

Honoring the wishes of James, there will be no visitation.  A Memorial Service will be conducted, Friday, March 15, 2019, 11 am, at Bethesda Christian Church, 40601 Bethesda-Belmont Road, Bethesda, Ohio.  Minister Tim Snyder Officiating.  Interment will be conducted, privately, at the convenience of James' family.

The family has entrusted James' care with Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, Bethesda.
