James R. "Ron" Morris, 56, of Harrison St., Neffs, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008 at Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire, OH. He was born Jan. 10, 1952 in Martins Ferry a son of Betty (Dennie) Morris and the late Fred R. Morris. He was a house painter and a member of the American Legion Post #77 of Neffs. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, Vietnam War. Surviving in addition to his mother of Neffs are three brothers Raymond Morris of Martins Ferry, Robert (Mary Ellen) Morris of Colerain, OH and Bill (Grace) Morris of Tampa, FL, and a sister Pam (Mitch) Barnes of Neffs. Friends are invited to a memorial service Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, 306 Locust St., Martins Ferry with John Oliver officiating.
