Obituary

JAMES RICHARD "ROBO" ROBSON

James Richard "Robo" Robson, 74, of Bethesda, Ohio and most recently of Barnesville, Ohio, now rests peacefully.  He passed away January 28, 2021 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab.  Born August 11, 1946 in Bannock, Ohio, he was the son of the late David and Pauline (Davis) Robson. Together with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Alvin and Dennis "Tug" Robson and sister, Phyllis Agar.

Robo, as he was known by everyone, appreciated his family and the relationships they shared.  He had a heart of gold and could been seen many days, walking through Bethesda and sharing his words of wisdom and caring nature with several of the residents.  A 1965 graduate of Union Local, he remained very supportive of the school's activities. He enjoyed Bingo, karaoke, crafts and was very active in the Bethesda Senior Citizens' Center.  Tried-and-true to the Bethesda community and wanting to show his loyalty, he volunteered for 50 years, as the community Santa Claus.

Robo will hold a special place in the hearts of those who survive; sister, Judith Heisler of Columbus; brothers, Larry (Barbara) Robson of Colonial Heights, Virginia, David (Joyce) Robson of Belpre, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; and the Bethesda community.
