James R. Smith 73 of Adena, died Sunday October 20, 2013 at Liza's Place, Wheeling. He was born June 28, 1940 in Adena, a son of the late Steve Sr. and Anna (Rapavi) Smith. He was co-owner of Smith Construction, a member of Pine Valley Sportsman Club, the Fairpoint Polish Club, and the PNA Lodge in Maynard. Jim is survived by his life partner Myra Jo Ronevich, a son James Smith Jr. and his friend Denise Danehart of Brilliant, a daughter Jamie Vinci and her friend Dave Householder of Yorkville, brothers Bernie (Pauline) Smith of Harrisville, Ed Smith and his fiancée Brenda Novak of Adena, a sister Cecelia (Carl) Kutay of McMurray Pa., three grandchildren. Friends are invited to a visitation at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday October 24, 2013 from 10 till time of memorial service at 11am with Msgr.
