James Lloyd Tanner Sr., 60, of Mount Pleasant, OH, passed Friday May 8, 2015 at UPMC Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born June 7, 1954, a son of the late Lloyd and Helen Thompson Tanner. Jim was a member of Friends Evangelical Church, 40 year member of Mt. Pleasant VFD, and was associated with Mt. Pleasant Police and Jefferson County Sheriffs Dept. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 1st wife Pamela and infant child; and a brother Wayne Tanner. James is survived by his wife Rose Gibbons Tanner; a son James Tanner Jr. and fiancé Amanda Dickey of Mt. Pleasant; daughters: Darcy (Jim) Coons of Indianapolis, IN., Angela Tanner of Tiltonsville; a brother: Joe (Peggy) Beadnell of Bergholz, OH., and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio, where services will be held Wednesday May 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Scott H.
