James W. Vanchure James W. Vanchure, 70, of Colerain, OH died Mon. Dec. 8, 2003 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born Aug. 22, 1933 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Charles and Mary (Carroll) Vanchure. He is retired from Casto Technical Services of Charleston, WV, a member of American Legion Post #521, Bellaire and the Pine Valley Sportsman Club, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne Korean War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Vanchure, and two sisters Jeanine Davis and Darlene Taylor. Surviving are his wife of 51 years Shirley J. (Waugaman) Vanchure, a son Eric (Janice) Vanchure of Dillonvale and a daughter Jackie (Dan) Falcone of Boardman, OH, two brothers Charles (Bertha) Vanchure and Robert (Helen) Vanchure both of Troy, OH, two sisters Noreen (Claire) Jones of Seneca, IL and Mary Lou Manuska of Myrtle Beach, SC, two granddaughters Stormie (Richard) Kirsopp of Hamersville, OH, and Erica Vanchure of Dillonvale, a grandson James Falcone of Ft. Bliss, TX, and two great granddaughters Autumn and Arielle Kirsopp of Hamersville, OH. Friends will be received Wed. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thurs., Dec. 11, 2003 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Judy Bennett officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Full Military honors will be presented at the funeral home by the Belmont Co. Council of the V.F.W.
