James Edward Wallace Sr., 73, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Friday June 3, 2016 at his home. He was born in Wellsburg, WV, on October 30, 1942, a son of the late Ralph and Modestine Palmer Bland-Wallace. Jim was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Bobby Wallace. James is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Rosalie "Rose" Irvin Wallace, sons: Shawn Michael (Jenyne) Wallace of Ashtabula, OH, James "Jack" Wallace Jr., Christopher Wallace; a brother Herbert (Janet) Wallace all of Bridgeport; a sister Glenda Lee of Martins Ferry; granddaughters: Shaunte and Danyelle; great-granddaughters: Mia and Aniya. Friends will be received Thursday June 9, 2016 from 10 until time of service at 12:00 noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH, with Rev. Myron Seals officiating.
