JAMIE LEE (RINEHART) SAMPSON
Jamie Lee (Rinehart) Sampson, 41, formerly of Monroe County, Ohio and most recently of Killeen, Texas, passed away January 26, 2020. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, June 6, 1978 to Trinda Lee (Rinehart) Schwaben and John L. Sampson.
Proceeding Jamie in death was his infant brother, Darin Schwaben; maternal grandfather, Guy Rinehart; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Rita Sampson; and niece, Makynzie Kilburn.
He leaves heartwarming memories to those who survive; his wife of 21 years, Micheale "Meshell" Goff Sampson; mother and stepfather, Trinda (Rinehart) and Darrell Schwaben of Antioch; father, John (Missy) Sampson of Barnesville; children, whom he loved and cherished, Robbie (Katie) Nixon, Amy (Richard) Pitts, Christian Goff; grandchildren, James, Kylie, Andrew, and Ryder; sisters, Desiree (Brian) Schwaben, Brittany (Preston) Kilburn; stepsisters, Amanda (Bob) Abercrombie, Chelsea (Stacy) Sampson, Brinna Sampson; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A 1996 graduate of Monroe Central High School, Jamie owned and operated his own business, A1 Muffler, and was also a former coal miner. He enjoyed catfishing with his friends, especially Brian Harrigan, his best buddy and friend since childhood. Jamie and best friend, Richard Pitts, also enjoyed catfishing and whenever Jamie was working on anything,Richard was right there, beside him, always helping. He had a passion for working on cars and enjoyed watching car shows on TV. It was easy to see how much Jamie loved his family and he dearly loved his Pop-Pop the late, Guy Rinehart. While growing up, he and Jamie attended many car shows and enjoyed showing off Pop-Pop's special 1959 El Camino.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, where the service for Jamie will be conducted, Wednesday, February 5, 202 at 11:00 am. Pastor Ron Taylor and Pastor Pastor Anthony McSwords will officiate. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Antioch.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Schwaben Family in care of the funeral home.
