Kaffana, Jane Mary Popkie, 91, of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed Thursday July 19, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Robyville, Ohio on September 8, 1920, a daughter of Andy and Bernice Zarko Popkie. She was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church and the CWC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Kaffana, a son Timothy Kaffana, brothers: Andy, Norman, Seiford, Leo and Alfred Popkie, and a sister Clara Pelley. Jane is survived by three sons: John (Cynthia) Kaffana of Westerville, Ohio, Richard Kaffana (Lisa Plewniak) and Michael Kaffana, both of Dillonvale; and two grandchildren: Daniel (Kristin) Kaffana of Phoenix, AZ and Mary Jane Kaffana of Dillonvale; one great-grandson Chase Alan Kaffana of Phoenix, AZ., and beloved sisters in law, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 3-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, Ohio, where vigil services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday July 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church with Msgr. John C. Kolesar, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Adalbert Catholic Church.
