JANE A. GREEN

Jane A. Green, 70, of Bethesda, passed away February 5, 2022, at Astoria Place of Barnesville, after a lengthy illness. She was born June 30, 1951, in Wheeling, West Virginia to Wayne K. and Marjorie J. (Stubbs) Wilcox. In addition to her parents, she will join her sister, Martina Smith who also preceded her in death.

She was a floral designer for Blossoms, E.M.T. nurse's aide, and enjoyed cooking for numerous nursing homes. She was a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. The simplest pleasures brought great joy to Jane and she always found happiness in her daily activities.

Jane is survived by her husband, David Green of Bethesda; daughters, Jennifer (Neil) Chaudhary of New Town, Connecticut, and Jessica (Joe) Thompson of Loomis; and was the proud grandma to Evan, Maya, Zane, Bo, and Sadie. Her love for her family will leave a guiding light for them always.

Visitation for Jane will be held at Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. Pastor Bob Merritt and Dr. Brian Bee, Pastor, will be officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda.
