Janet A. (Conner) Capers, 58, originally of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away in Atlanta, GA, Thursday, Mar. 24, 2005 after a three year battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 2, 1946 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Ellsworth E. and Dorothy V. (Jones) Conner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Richard Conner. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Megan and Michael Domenicone and granddaughter Ella of Atlanta, GA. Janet graduated from West Liberty State College where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She later received a master's degree in speech pathology from California State Pennsylvania. As a speech therapist she treated children with speech and language disorders and most recently worked to rehabilitate brain injury patients in Roswell, GA. Funeral services will be held Monday, Mar. 28, 2005 at 4:00 PM at Sandy Springs Chapel in Atlanta, GA. Friends are invited to meet at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, Tuesday, Mar. 29, 2005 for graveside services at 3:00 PM at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry with Rev.
