Janet M. Thompson, 71, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Friday, December 11, 2015 at her home. She was born July 8, 1944 in Circleville, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold Jackson and Helen Eveland Jackson. A very giving, selfless, kindhearted person, Janet had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to shop. Throughout the years she maintained a close bond with her high school girlfriends. Very dear to Janet, was being Nana to Braylon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Thompson; brothers, Gary and Tim Jackson. Janet is survived by her daughters, Dawn Thompson of Columbus, Ohio, Dana (Dustin) Kinder of Bellaire, Ohio; son, Ryan (Shelly) Thompson of Supply, North Carolina; grandchildren, Braylon Kinder and Anthony Thompson; sisters, Judy Johnson and Tina (John) Walters all of Woodstock, Georgia, Tamara Jackson of Lancaster, Ohio; brother, Greg Jackson of Zanesville, Ohio; and her furry grandchildren, Ainsley, Gideon, and Khloe. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of service beginning at 6 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
