Janett L. Warner, 70, of Freeport, Ohio, died Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born March 3, 1944 in Armstrong Mills, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold Boston and Dorothy Hicks Boston.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Janett was a friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and always had a well-kept home. She and her husband, Thomas, were the owners and operators of D&J Bait Shop, with Janett enjoying each day she spent there.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn, Marilyn, Linda; and brother, Donald.
Janett is survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas R. Warner of Freeport; sons, Tony Allen (Michelle) Warner of Middleburn, Thomas H. Warner of Fairview; grandchildren, Trista, Nichole, TJ, Christopher, Brooke, and Devon; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean (Lendy) Usenick, Evelyn Scott both of Glenco, Nancy Kepple of Canton, and JoAnn Frazier of Bellaire.
Family and friends may visit, Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service, following at 7 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Pastor Rodney West officiating. In honoring Janett's wish, interment will be private and at the convenience of her family.
