Janice M. McConn, 77, of Bridgeport, OH passed away Sunday morning surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 21, 1938 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Catherine (Amos) Ikey. Janice selflessly lived her life for her family and her children. She was always there to give advice in any situation, or simply to be a listening ear. Janice was known for her beautiful smile that radiated across her face and for her enormous heart. She volunteered her time as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and homeroom mom and loved attending any activity her children and grandchildren were involved with. In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her sons, Delbert "Deb" McConn Jr., and James E. McConn; and her brother Charles Ikey. She is survived by her loving husband Delbert "Deb" McConn; her children, Charles (Amy) McConn of Belmont, OH, and Amy Perzanowski of St. Clairsville, OH; her brothers, Ronald (Ann) Ikey of Akron, OH, Thomas (Sandy) Ikey of Bridgeport, and Terry (Mary) Ikey of Belmont, OH; daughter-in-laws, Leigh McConn and Cindy McConn both of Bridgeport; sister-in-law Sonnie Ikey of St. Clairsville; grandchildren Misty (Bob) Glitch, Chazz (Daria) McConn, Brittany (Jeffrey) Wick, James and Katie McConn, Abbey, Brandon and Olivia Perzanowski; great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Gavin and Avery Glitch, Isaiah and Taylor Wick. Friends will be received from 4pm until time of memorial service at 7:30pm on Friday, August 26th at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH. Rev. James Hoff officiating.
