Jay Ray, 58, of Dillonvale, Ohio passed away on July 18, 2024.  He was born on August 29, 1965 to the late Jack and Martha (Streight) Ray.

Jay retired from working as Manager of Papa John's Pizza.  He was a kind man who respected everyone.  All who knew him, loved him.  He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He enjoyed being outside especially fishing and camping.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Becky Ray, Sidney Baker, Christopher Ray and Roy Ray.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Christine (Bane) Ray; children, Joseph Kurensky (Megan Eppely), Jay M. Ray, Allison Ray (Matt Johnson), Sylvia Ray, Bair Ray (Shila Danielson), Cheyenne Ray, (Cory Gossett); grandchildren, Adam Johnson, Dawson Lanch, Keeliy Littleton, Cheyenne Reed, Isaac Danielson, Jordan Lowe, and Jesse Ray; brothers, Keith (Lisa) Ray and Elwood (Jennifer) Ray.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family.  Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Bridgeport, Ohio 43912, is assisting the family.
