Jean L. (Chambers) Logsdon, 84, of Martins Ferry, OH, formerly of Tiltonsville, OH died Mon., April 24, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born July 22, 1921 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Harrison and Emma (Seabright) Chambers. She was retired from the Yorkville Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. Jean was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Martins Ferry and a honorary member of the Tiltonsville Vol. Fire Dept. Auxiliary. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Vernon R. Logsdon, two brothers Howard "Mooch" Mason and Karl Chambers, and two sisters Marie Cunningham and Wilma Tice. Surviving are a son Robert V. (Judy) Logsdon of Martins Ferry, two sisters Barbara (Paul) Palkovich of Bellaire and Mary Emily (Orlando) Raimonde of Tiltonsville, and a brother Albert (Grace) Chambers of Lansing. Friends will be received Wed., 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Philip Van Dam officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
