Jean Niehart, 98, of Dillonvale, died Sunday June 6, 2010 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born March 30. 1912 in Piney Fork, OH, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Swartz) Plechaty. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Niehart; two daughters Kate Niehart and Midge Palios; a brother William Plechaty; and two sisters Ida Spears and Mary Pospisil. Jean is survived by a son Lawrence "Bill" Niehart and his wife Angela of Amherst,OH; a daughter Toni Cooper and her husband Stanley of Martins Ferry; seven grandchildren Denise Seymour, Chris, Anthony and Larry Niehart, Rick and Bill Cooper, and Mike Palios; 12 great grandchildren and her loving pet dog, "Monkey". Visitation will be on Tuedsday June 8 at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Services will be on Wednesday June 9 at 11 am with Martin Imbroscio officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
