Jean (Wilson) Sabo, 77 of Rose Lane, Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Jul. 12, 2004 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling WV. She was born Feb. 13, 1927 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Raymond H. and Gladys (Doughty) Wilson. She was a retired secretary for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and a member of the First Christian Church and the Lady Elks both of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William S. Sabo in 1997 and two brothers Robert "Shorty" Wilson and Thomas E. Wilson. Surviving are two sisters Betty Beck of Moundsville, WV and LaVerna (Evert) Mills of DeLand, FL, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wed., from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Thurs., July 15, 2004 at 10:30 AM with Minister Rod Kasler officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
