Jeannette L. (Rounds) LaRue, 90, formerly of Jefferson St., Martins Ferry, OH died Sun., Apr. 11, 2004 at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born Feb. 26, 1914 in Franklin, PA a daughter of the late William and Carrie (Gardner) Rounds. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. La Rue, a son William R. LaRue, and four brothers Eugene, Clyde, Carl, and Harold Rounds. Surviving are a son Charles J. (Mary) LaRue, Jr. of Hookstown, PA; six daughters Betty Tucker of Middletown, OH; Evelyn (Jerry) Clark of Prairie Village, KS; Patricia (Carl) Shafer and Nancy (Frank) Faldowski all of Martins Ferry; Carol Monroe of Belmont, OH; and Marjory Campbell of Reynoldsburg, OH; two brothers Elmer Round of Kennesaw, GA and Delbert Round of Youngstown, OH; a sister Dolores (Edwin) Brocklebank of Aliquippa, PA; thirty two grandchildren, sixty-six great grandchildren, and fourteen great great grandchildren. Friends will be received Mon. 6-8 PM and Tue. 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wed., Apr. 14, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Minister Rod Kasler officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
