Jeffrey W. Brown, 37, of Martins Ferry, OH died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. He was born February 15, 1974 a son of Wilma (Jackson) Heath and the late James Brown. Jeff was a professional arborist. He was a musician for most of his life and in recent years was lead singer and guitarist for the North Star Band. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Brown, Jr., a daughter Carlee Brown, and his grandmother Betty Kirkpatrick. Surviving in addition to his mother Wilma Heath and step-father Tom Heath of Wheeling, WV are his wife, Lori R. (Jerrome) Brown, two daughters Searah Marie Brown of Martins Ferry and Emmalee Jewel Brown of Weirton, WV, two step-children Shane Heitz and Kyla Duff of Martins Ferry, and a brother James R. Brown of Wheeling, WV. Friends will be received Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry from 10 am until time of services at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bob Mazeroski officiating.
