Jeffrey L. Knutsen, 64, of Richmond, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, died Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. He was born May 29, 1954 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Dale D. Knutsen, Sr. and Catherine E. (Tierney) Knutsen.

Jeff was a cement finisher in the Valley for over 20 years and was a member of the Union Cement Masons and Plasterers. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Martins Ferry. Jeff was a certified scuba diver, loved fishing, cooking and riding his Harley. His daughters and grandchildren were the center of his life and his friends were very important to him.

Surviving are his daughters; Carly Knutsen Beck of Bethlehem, WV, Ashley Knutsen of Flushing, OH, grandchildren; Hunter Beck, Ellie Beck, Austyn Locke, Alayna Locke and Jase Locke, siblings; Dale D. (Barbara) Knutsen, Jr. of Wheeling, Sandy (William) Myers of Martins Ferry, and Debbie (Dwight) Kent of Marysville, OH and his beloved dog, Duke.

Friends and family will be received, Thursday 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held, Friday April 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Liza's Place, 308 Mt. St. Joseph Rd., Wheeling WV 26003.
