Jenny L. (Montello) Stanko, 89, of Martins Ferry, OH died Sunday, May 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 15, 1926 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late John and Julia (Morfae) Montello. She retired from East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. Jenny was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Edward Jay Stanko, sister, Angeline Renat and brothers, John, Ralph and Nick Montello. Surviving are her sister, Julia Groux of Martins Ferry and her niece, Anita (Bob) Kelly of Martins Ferry. Funeral services were held at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH with Rev. George Coyne officiating. Burial followed in Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, OH.
