Jerry Joe "J.J." Kniszek, 50, of Dillonvale, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023, in Country Club Retirement Center.  He was born on March 4, 1973, a son of the late Joseph Kniszek and Lois (Ippoliti) Kniszek.  J.J. was a member of the Dillonvale Volunteer Fire Department and EMS.

He is survived by his loving mother, Lois Kniszek; a brother, Anthony (Kelli) Kniszek; an uncle, Jerry (Rosalie) Ippoliti; four nephews, Devin, Corey, Aiden and Blake; a niece Elana; a good friend, Lori Bittengle; and many close friends.

J.J. was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Kniszek, and his grandparents, Anthony and Louise Ippoliti.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 6-7 pm, in the Dillonvale Presbyterian Church.  A memorial service will be held in the church at 7 pm.  Arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 154 2nd St., Dillonvale. Firemen's Service -Last Call will be held at 7pm at the Dillonvale Presbyterian Church.
